Common Questions

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is the first class really free?

Yes! Your first class is 100% free with no obligation and no credit card required. It gives you or your child a chance to meet Master Chris, experience the class environment, and see if Absolute is the right fit.

What age can my child start martial arts?

Children can start as early as age 4 in our Tigers program (ages 4–5). We also have dedicated Kids Martial Arts (ages 6–12), Teen Martial Arts (ages 13–17), and Adult Krav Maga (ages 18+).

Do I or my child need prior experience?

Not at all. Every program at Absolute Martial Arts is 100% beginner friendly. Instructors adjust training intensity and coaching to match each student's starting ability.

What is the difference between Tigers, Kids, and Teen Martial Arts?

Tigers (4–5) focuses on basic coordination, listening, balance, and fun structured movement. Kids Martial Arts (6–12) emphasizes focus, belt progression, anti-bullying, and striking basics. Teen Martial Arts (13–17) combines Krav Maga self-defense, fitness, leadership, and decision-making.

What is Adult Krav Maga?

Adult Krav Maga is practical, reality-based self-defense for everyday situations. There are no katas or choreographed routines — just instinctive striking, escape tactics, and a high-energy workout.

What should someone wear or bring to their first free class?

Wear comfortable athletic clothing (t-shirt and sweatpants or shorts) and bring a water bottle. We train barefoot on sanitized martial arts mats.

Is martial arts good for children with ADHD or focus challenges?

Yes. Martial arts provides clear rules, immediate feedback, structured physical movement, and positive goal-setting, which many parents find beneficial for focus and self-discipline.

Where is Absolute Martial Arts located?
